This procedure adds Deepline as a remote MCP server in ChatGPT Work, Claude, or another MCP client.

Watch the ChatGPT Work setup

The video connects Deepline, authorizes a workspace, finds contact data, checks the provider source, updates HubSpot, and calls a saved Play. Read the video guide and exact prompts, or continue below for the connector fields.
Confirm the workspace before you approve access. That workspace controls the tools, Plays, and database data available to the MCP client.

Connector settings

ChatGPT Work

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Open the connector settings.
  3. Add a custom MCP connector.
  4. Enter the connector settings from the table above.
  5. Leave both OAuth fields empty.
  6. Sign in to Deepline.
  7. Select the workspace that ChatGPT Work can use.
  8. Approve the authorization request.

Claude Desktop

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Open Connectors.
  3. Click Add custom connector.
  4. Enter the connector settings from the table above.
  5. Do not enter a value in the advanced OAuth fields.
  6. Click Add.
  7. Sign in to Deepline.
  8. Select the Deepline workspace that Claude can use.
  9. Approve the authorization request.
The Deepline server does the OAuth registration and the authorization. You do not supply OAuth credentials. If your agent has a shell, use the Deepline Quickstart instead. Read CLI vs MCP vs SDK when you need to choose an interface.

Test prompts

Use one of these prompts to make sure that the connector operates correctly:

Results

  1. The MCP client finds the Deepline tools and resources.
  2. Deepline shows the sign-in page if you did not sign in before.
  3. You select the Deepline workspace.
  4. The client can use the Deepline tools and Plays in that workspace.
  5. The permissions of that workspace control the database access.
Next, run a saved Play or start with the work email task.
