Aero is a warehouse-native analytics platform. Our architecture is designed to keep customer data where it belongs — in your environment. This policy outlines what we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
1. How We Handle Customer Data
Aero is built to operate within your infrastructure. We do not copy, store, or extract your source data.
- In most cases, data is processed directly within your cloud environment (e.g., Snowflake).
- In certain use cases, data may be processed ephemerally in isolated, customer-specific infrastructure temporarily provisioned by Aero (e.g., secure cloud containers).
- This infrastructure is short-lived, access-controlled, and destroyed immediately after processing.
We do not persist, log, or retain any customer data. Unless explicitly authorized (e.g., for support), Aero never stores data from your systems.
2. Information We Collect from Our Website
When you visit our website or interact with us, we may collect limited personal data, such as:
- Name, email address, company name, and job title (if provided through a form)
- Communication preferences and demo requests
- Site usage data via cookies and analytics tools
We collect this information only to provide you with relevant content, support, or product updates.

Aero is designed to run primarily within your infrastructure, meaning customer data is processed in your cloud environment (e.g., Snowflake). In some cases, to support specific features or workflows, Aero may provision temporary, customer-specific infrastructure using trusted cloud providers like AWS or GCP.
In these cases:
- Infrastructure is isolated per customer, access-controlled, and destroyed after use.
- Customer data is processed ephemerally and never stored on Aero systems.
- We do not transmit customer data to any third-party vendors for processing or storage.
We use a limited number of subprocessors to support our website, communication, and internal business operations (e.g., CRM, analytics, billing). These subprocessors do not access customer data processed through our platform.
A list of subprocessors used for internal operations is available upon request.
6. Data Retention
- Customer data: Not stored or retained by Aero.
- Website form submissions: Retained for up to 2 years or until you request deletion.
- Account and contract data: Retained for the duration of the client relationship + 7 years, per legal and audit requirements.
7. Security Measures
Aero maintains strong technical and organizational measures to safeguard data, including:
- Encrypted, access-controlled infrastructure
- In-memory-only processing of client data
- MFA, device security, and least-privilege access internally
- Regular policy reviews and employee training
