# ScrapeCreators: Twitch Profile

> Retrieves a Twitch user's public profile by handle, including identity, social links, and content. Includes inputs, outputs, SDK V2 examples, and Deepline cost.

Retrieves a Twitch user's public profile by handle, including identity, social links, and content.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Tool ID: `scrapecreators_twitch_profile`

## Run this action

Use the TypeScript SDK for one call. Use `ctx.tools.execute(...)` inside a Play for durable calls, scheduled calls, or CSV processing.

```ts theme={"languages":{"custom":["/languages/deepline-prompt.json"]}}
import { Deepline } from 'deepline';
const deepline = await Deepline.connect();
const result = await deepline.tools.execute(
  'scrapecreators_twitch_profile',
  {
    "handle": "example"
  },
);
console.log(result.toolResponse.raw);
```

### CLI

```bash theme={"languages":{"custom":["/languages/deepline-prompt.json"]}}
deepline tools execute scrapecreators_twitch_profile --input '{
  "handle": "example"
}' --json
```

## Example response

The static output schema lacks the details for a reliable example. Use `deepline describe scrapecreators_twitch_profile --json` for the complete live contract.

## Input reference

Retrieves a Twitch user's public profile by handle, including identity, social links, and content. Returns id, handle, displayName, description, followers count, and linked social accounts (instagram, x, tiktok). Also includes lastBroadcast with startedAt (ISO 8601 UTC) and title, allVideos with game info, duration, and view counts, featuredClips with clip metadata and thumbnails, and similarStreamers. lastBroadcast comes from Twitch's broadcast metadata rather than saved videos, so it can remain available when a channel is offline and its saved broadcasts have expired or were never saved. lastBroadcast is null when Twitch does not provide it. startedAt and title can individually be null when unavailable.

| Name | Type | Required | Default | Details |
| - | - | - | - | - |
| `payload.handle` | `string` | Yes | — | Twitch handle |
| `payload.cache_max_age` | `"1d" \| "3d" \| "7d" \| "14d" \| "30d"` | No | — | If we have a response in the cache that is this many days old or newer, return the cached response. Otherwise, scrape a live result. [See the Caching page for details.](https://docs.scrapecreators.com/caching) Allowed: `1d`, `3d`, `7d`, `14d`, `30d`. |
