Finds public LinkedIn posts, feed updates, and Pulse articles by keyword using Google Search, then returns post details such as description, author, media.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Tool ID: `scrapecreators_linkedin_search_posts`

## Run this action

Use the TypeScript SDK for one call. Use `ctx.tools.execute(...)` inside a Play for durable calls, scheduled calls, or CSV processing.

```ts theme={"languages":{"custom":["/languages/deepline-prompt.json"]}}
import { Deepline } from 'deepline';
const deepline = await Deepline.connect();
const result = await deepline.tools.execute(
  'scrapecreators_linkedin_search_posts',
  {
    "query": "software companies hiring engineers"
  },
);
console.log(result.toolResponse.raw);
```

### CLI

```bash theme={"languages":{"custom":["/languages/deepline-prompt.json"]}}
deepline tools execute scrapecreators_linkedin_search_posts --input '{
  "query": "software companies hiring engineers"
}' --json
```

## Example response

The static output schema lacks the details for a reliable example. Use `deepline describe scrapecreators_linkedin_search_posts --json` for the complete live contract.

## Input reference

Finds public LinkedIn posts, feed updates, and Pulse articles by keyword using Google Search, then returns post details such as description, author, media, images, like count, comment count, and published date when LinkedIn exposes them publicly. Results depend on what Google has indexed, so this is best-effort and not a complete LinkedIn-native search. Use date\_posted for recent posts and pass the returned cursor to fetch the next page. Cursors are limited to pages 1 through 11. cursor 12 or greater returns a 400 response. Inline comments are only LinkedIn's public preview, not the full comment list. comment pagination is not available. Each comment includes nullable datePublished (the exact source timestamp, never estimated from age), publishedTimeAgo (how long ago the comment was published), urn (the full comment URN), id (the comment's numeric suffix as a string), and reactionCount See the live schema below for the complete notes.

| Name | Type | Required | Default | Details |
| - | - | - | - | - |
| `payload.query` | `string` | Yes | — | Keyword or phrase to search for in public LinkedIn posts |
| `payload.date_posted` | `"last-hour" \| "last-day" \| "last-week" \| "last-month" \| "last-year"` | No | — | Date posted filter based on Google-indexed results Allowed: `last-hour`, `last-day`, `last-week`, `last-month`, `last-year`. |
| `payload.cursor` | `string` | No | — | The cursor returned from the previous response. The maximum cursor is 11. cursor 12 or greater returns a 400 response. |
