# Pipedrive: Convert Lead To Deal

> Convert a lead to a deal. Includes SDK V2 and CLI requests, input constraints, response fields, and Deepline credit cost.

Convert a lead to a deal.

<Info>
  Tool ID: `pipedrive_convert_lead_to_deal`
</Info>

## Run this action

Use the TypeScript SDK for a single call. Put `ctx.tools.execute(...)` inside a Play when the call should be durable, scheduled, or run across a CSV.

```ts theme={null}
import { Deepline } from 'deepline';
const deepline = await Deepline.connect();
const result = await deepline.tools.execute(
  'pipedrive_convert_lead_to_deal',
  {
    "id": "123e4567-e89b-42d3-a456-426614174000"
  },
);
console.log(result.toolResponse.raw);
```

### CLI

```bash theme={null}
deepline tools execute pipedrive_convert_lead_to_deal --input '{
  "id": "123e4567-e89b-42d3-a456-426614174000"
}' --json
```

## Example response

The SDK exposes this shape at `result.toolResponse.raw`. Values below are representative.

```json theme={null}
{
  "data": {
    "success": true,
    "data": {
      "conversion_id": "123e4567-e89b-42d3-a456-426614174000"
    },
    "additional_data": {}
  }
}
```

Use `deepline tools get pipedrive_convert_lead_to_deal --json` for the latest machine-readable contract.

## Input reference

Initiates a conversion of a lead to a deal. The return value is an ID of a job that was assigned to perform the conversion. Related entities (notes, files, emails, activities, ...) are transferred during the process to the target entity. If the conversion is successful, the lead is marked as deleted. To retrieve the created entity ID and the result of the conversion, call the /api/v2/leads/\{lead\_id}/convert/status/\{conversion\_id} endpoint.
