# Prepare deployment automation

> Have your agent prepare a GitHub Actions workflow for Play deployment.

[Agent guide: CLI and SDK instructions →](/docs/sdk-v2/github-deployments)

## 1. Have your context ready

Have a repository, a target workspace, reviewed Play source, and a way to supply server-side credentials through GitHub secrets.

## 2. Ask your agent

Paste this into your agent, then provide your task and example inputs when it asks:

```deepline-prompt theme={null}
/deepline-gtm Prepare a GitHub Actions workflow for deploying these Deepline Plays. Inspect current deployment contracts and whether any Play is owned by a linked repository. Pin the CLI version, keep credentials in GitHub secrets, and check source before deployment. Show the trigger, directory, workspace, and ownership rules. Do not push, publish, or deploy until I approve the exact change.
```

Complete any requested sign-in yourself. Give the agent the missing information before approving execution. Provider-backed work can incur usage.

## 3. Review the result

The workflow checks the intended sources and deploys to the intended workspace. It respects repository ownership instead of silently replacing another deployment path.

Ask your agent:

```deepline-prompt theme={null}
/deepline-gtm Compare the result with the acceptance rule we agreed. Show the evidence for accepted and rejected outcomes, unresolved questions, and recorded Deepline usage where work ran. If work is still running or a response is uncertain, inspect the original saved execution before proposing another request. Explain the next decision I need to make.
```

Approve a larger job, recurring work, or external changes only after reviewing that decision.

## Check your understanding

Does a green validation-only job establish that production publication occurred?

> No. Inspect the deployment mode and publication evidence. Validation and
> publication are different actions.
