# Find LinkedIn Profile

> Ask your agent to find a professional profile and review identity evidence.

[Agent guide: CLI and SDK instructions →](/docs/plays/task-find-linkedin-profile)

## 1. Have your context ready

Have the person’s name, company information, and any known location or role. Similar names need extra evidence.

## 2. Ask your agent

Paste this into your agent, then provide your task and example inputs when it asks:

```deepline-prompt theme={null}
/deepline-gtm Find the LinkedIn profile for this person using Deepline. Inspect a current route that accepts the identifiers I have. Start with one candidate lookup after I approve its plan and usage. Compare the candidate’s name, employer, role, and any supplied location with the person I intended. Preserve ambiguity instead of selecting the first similarly named person.
```

Complete any requested sign-in yourself. Give the agent the missing information before approving execution. Provider-backed work can incur usage.

## 3. Review the result

The profile has enough independent identity evidence. If several candidates remain plausible, ask for the missing discriminator instead of treating ranking as proof.

Ask your agent:

```deepline-prompt theme={null}
/deepline-gtm Compare the result with the acceptance rule we agreed. Show the evidence for accepted and rejected outcomes, unresolved questions, and recorded Deepline usage where work ran. If work is still running or a response is uncertain, inspect the original saved execution before proposing another request. Explain the next decision I need to make.
```

Approve a larger job, recurring work, or external changes only after reviewing that decision.

## Check your understanding

Two candidates share the name, but only one has the expected company. Is the first search result automatically correct?
