# Fundraising signals

> Ask your agent to qualify funding events for account review.

[Agent guide: CLI and SDK instructions →](/docs/plays/signal-fundraising)

## 1. Have your context ready

Define target companies, the funding window, accepted sources, and what next action your team permits.

## 2. Ask your agent

Paste this into your agent, then provide your task and example inputs when it asks:

```deepline-prompt theme={null}
/deepline-gtm Review funding signals with Deepline for this target set and time window. Preserve company identity, announced date, source, and reported event details. Distinguish a funding announcement from a later article about an older event. Apply my relevance rule and return a cited review record. Do not assume funding proves immediate budget, purchasing intent, or permission to contact founders.
```

Complete any requested sign-in yourself. Give the agent the missing information before approving execution. Provider-backed work can incur usage.

## 3. Review the result

The event falls within the intended window and matches the company. A timing hypothesis remains distinct from a proven buyer need.

Ask your agent:

```deepline-prompt theme={null}
/deepline-gtm Compare the result with the acceptance rule we agreed. Show the evidence for accepted and rejected outcomes, unresolved questions, and recorded Deepline usage where work ran. If work is still running or a response is uncertain, inspect the original saved execution before proposing another request. Explain the next decision I need to make.
```

Approve a larger job, recurring work, or external changes only after reviewing that decision.

## Check your understanding

Does a funding announcement establish an approved budget for your category?

> **Show the answer**
>
> No. Keep funding as the observed fact. Category budget and purchase intent
> remain separate questions.
