# Champion tracking

> Ask your agent to review a known champion’s job change.

[Agent guide: CLI and SDK instructions →](/docs/plays/signal-champion-tracking)

## 1. Have your context ready

Have a known relationship, stable person identity, the prior employer, and evidence of the possible new role.

## 2. Ask your agent

Paste this into your agent, then provide your task and example inputs when it asks:

```deepline-prompt theme={null}
/deepline-gtm Review this champion-tracking signal with Deepline. First confirm that this is the same person and that we have a recorded relationship. Check current employer and role evidence. Separate confirmed changes from ambiguous identity or stale information. Propose the appropriate account-owner review and retain evidence. Do not invent the prior relationship or automatically contact the person.
```

Complete any requested sign-in yourself. Give the agent the missing information before approving execution. Provider-backed work can incur usage.

## 3. Review the result

A current job change is distinct from proof that the person will influence a purchase at the new company. Keep the relationship and employment evidence separate.

Ask your agent:

```deepline-prompt theme={null}
/deepline-gtm Compare the result with the acceptance rule we agreed. Show the evidence for accepted and rejected outcomes, unresolved questions, and recorded Deepline usage where work ran. If work is still running or a response is uncertain, inspect the original saved execution before proposing another request. Explain the next decision I need to make.
```

Approve a larger job, recurring work, or external changes only after reviewing that decision.

## Check your understanding

Does a former contact automatically remain a champion at a new company?

> **Show the answer**
>
> No. Preserve the known relationship and verify the new context. A job move
> does not establish current influence or buying support.
