# Prepare follow-ups from recorded commitments

> Ask your agent to draft follow-ups from recorded commitments.

[Agent guide: CLI and SDK instructions →](/docs/guides/sales-follow-up-automation)

## 1. Have your context ready

Have meeting notes or a transcript, recipient identities, explicit commitments, and your sending approval policy.

## 2. Ask your agent

Paste this into your agent, then provide your task and example inputs when it asks:

```deepline-prompt theme={null}
/deepline-gtm Prepare follow-up drafts from this recorded conversation with Deepline. Match the correct participants and account. Extract actual commitments, owners, and due dates with evidence. Separate those commitments from suggested next actions and unresolved questions. Return a draft and review checklist; do not invent promises, send messages, or change CRM fields automatically.
```

Complete any requested sign-in yourself. Give the agent the missing information before approving execution. Provider-backed work can incur usage.

## 3. Review the result

The draft reflects supported commitments and the correct recipient. Missing dates and owners remain unresolved instead of being filled in as facts.

Ask your agent:

```deepline-prompt theme={null}
/deepline-gtm Compare the result with the acceptance rule we agreed. Show the evidence for accepted and rejected outcomes, unresolved questions, and recorded Deepline usage where work ran. If work is still running or a response is uncertain, inspect the original saved execution before proposing another request. Explain the next decision I need to make.
```

Approve a larger job, recurring work, or external changes only after reviewing that decision.

## Check your understanding

Can a seller-proposed deadline become an agreed buyer commitment automatically?

> **Show the answer**

> No. Preserve who proposed it and whether agreement exists. Unaccepted and
> confirmed dates remain distinct.
