# Match an Apollo contact from Claude Code

> Ask Claude Code to perform one reviewed Apollo contact match.

[Agent guide: CLI and SDK instructions →](/docs/guides/apollo-claude-code)

## 1. Have your context ready

Use Apollo only when you intend to use it and your own Apollo key is connected in the Deepline workspace.

## 2. Ask your agent

Paste this into your agent, then provide your task and example inputs when it asks:

```deepline-prompt theme={null}
/deepline-gtm Use Deepline with my connected Apollo account to match this known contact. First verify access and inspect the current match operation. Do not use preview-only obfuscated search results as full contact records. Propose one match without phone reveal and explain the applicable usage before execution. Return the actual identity evidence and available fields rather than assuming every field is populated.
```

Complete any requested sign-in yourself. Give the agent the missing information before approving execution. Provider-backed work can incur usage.

## 3. Review the result

The matched person is the intended contact. A completed contact match does not mean an asynchronous phone reveal has completed.

Ask your agent:

```deepline-prompt theme={null}
/deepline-gtm Compare the result with the acceptance rule we agreed. Show the evidence for accepted and rejected outcomes, unresolved questions, and recorded Deepline usage where work ran. If work is still running or a response is uncertain, inspect the original saved execution before proposing another request. Explain the next decision I need to make.
```

Approve a larger job, recurring work, or external changes only after reviewing that decision.

## Check your understanding

The matched person response completed. Does that prove an asynchronous phone reveal has finished?

> No. Follow the selected reveal and polling contract. Person matching and phone
> readiness are separate outcomes.
